About the Clinic
Steven Stratton Physical Therapy, Inc.(SSPT) was established in January 2008. The current location is a 4000 square foot clinic specializing in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy. The clinic has nine treatment rooms, three evaluation/treatment rooms, and an exercise space located in the center of the clinic. Lois Pearson with "Yknot" massage therapy has a location in the clinic. The clinic provides modality services to include hot packs, cold packs, interferential electrical stimulation, high voltage electrical stimulation, EMG biofeedback, continuous and pulsed ultrasound, phonophoresis, iontophoresis, He-Ne cold laser, and InterX 5000. The clinic also provides active individualized exercise programs, exercise equipment to include total gym, latissimus pull down, horizontal leg press, seated row, seated chest press, seated hamstrings, Free Motion Cable Cross machine, plyometric motor control equipment to include BOSU, Sissel seat, balance board, Ab Dolly Plus, foam roller, and gym balls. SSPT also has the Biodex Stabilometer (computerized balance) machine to assist in balance of the trunk and the lower extremities. SSPT provides decompression lumbar traction, motorized cervical traction, autotraction and unloaded walking for reducing pressure on the spine. Cardiovascular equipment include Biodex recumbent cycle, Biodex concentric cycle, Woodway treadmill, Nordic elevated treadmill (to 51 degrees), and UBE (upper body ergometer).
